WAREHOUSE LAUNCHES AUTUMN / WINTER 2015 COLLECTION
The Warehouse AW15 collection creates a statement uniform for the urban folk heroine. Working with a strong palette of black and deep navy with caramel and hints of wine, texture is key to the collection. I absolutely love the Mongolian fur trims, hardware leather and real suede which bring elements of the era’s rock ‘n’ roll to the streets. The cashmere and winter bohemian tapestry prints illustrate the beauty to be found within city life.
‘The AW15 collection was inspired by the streets of New York in the 1970s; from the uptown girls of Madison to the Harlem hustlers. The style channels the attitude of the ‘70s most irreverent music heroines, including Kate Bush, Janis Joplin and Stevie Nicks’. Toni Morden, Head of Design at Warehouse.
Premium collection
A range of high quality, premium pieces have been designed with the Warehouse customer in mind. The collection offers investment pieces that are both timeless and durable, ensuring they’ll be a wardrobe staple for years to come. The collection incorporates printed silk pieces, a rich colour palette of coloured suede, fringed and studded leather dresses, embroidered gilets and skirts and oversized alpaca knitwear. Prices range from €90 – €1,220.
Limited edition pieces
Hand-embroidered suede jackets, crafted loom jumpers and delicately embellished lace dresses comprise the exclusive collection of AW15 limited edition pieces. The range includes 100% shearling biker jackets, sheepskin coats, a real wool maxi trench and velvet and cut-work lace dresses.
Cashmere range
The brand’s first cashmere collection launched in October 2014 and was extremely successful, selling out in-store and online within two weeks of the launch. Building on the success of last season, Warehouse has introduced a wider selection of cashmere including ‘70s inspired kick flare trousers with an oversized coordinating jumper, luxe joggers, co-ords and skirts as well as classic cashmere staples including jumpers, cardigans and socks.
