#SUMMERDAYOUT
On Wednesday (July 15th) I went to the #SummerDayOut event in Kildare Village. I had an early start because I had to meet the rest of the bloggers at Heuston station for 11am sharp. As soon as I arrived at the station we were all welcomed with a massive ‘Summer Day Out’ backdrop and giant macaroons. We took loads of photos before we headed to Kildare Village on our very own private train. After a few hundred snaps and selfies with giant macaroons we took our seats on the train and the treats started from there…
On board the ‘Kildare Village Express’ we were each treated to a bright pink box of treats. From sweets and VIP vouchers to macaroons and pink bubbly, it was definitely the start of a great day out. The extremely talented illustrator Conor Merriman was on board doing quick but unreal sketches of us.
When we arrived in Kildare our coach took us to Kildare Village where we were brought to the VIP room for some more bubbly. After chats and catch ups and more snaps (there’s always more snaps) we were then let loose in the village to shop to our hearts content – literally! Myself and Aoibhe Devlin of The Secret Obsession headed straight for Kooples and one of my absolute favourite stores in the village – Lulu Guinness.
I decided to go into each shop and have a proper browse before buying anything. I was very tempted to buy something from almost every store in the Village as usual but I just about managed to resist the temptation! 😛
There was bubbly and treats in a number of the stores so we were absolutely spoilt! After almost buying a pair of shoes in Kurt Geiger and a bright passport cover in Kate Spade I decided to head back to Lulu Guinness to buy the clutch that I have been dying to get for months. Ps. they have so many amazing sales on right now not only in Lulu but in all of the stores in the village. Definitely worth a look! 🙂
WHAT I BOUGHT
My VIP Kildare Village voucher was put to good use. Here is what I bought in Lulu Guinness…I have wanted a Lulu clutch for months so I was delighted that they had the one I wanted in stock. <3

AFTERNOON TEA
At about 2.45pm we all headed back to the our VIP room for afternoon tea. The nibbles, tea and fresh lemonade was divine! <3 I had smoked salmon, prawns, pate and endless amounts of sugary treats. #Yum
WHAT I WORE
I bought this all-white one piece in New Look for under €50. It has since gone on sale so it’d be worth popping in for a browse. A good few of you have been asking about this its on sale for about half the price so hurry because they will be sold out asap. 😛 I got these fab black shoes from Penneys for just under €15 – a great bargain. I only bought them on Tuesday so it was my first day breaking them in and they didn’t hurt at all which was a bonus. My bag is from MK and my makeup was from MAC and Benefit.

Overall, I had such a great day. By far one of the best events i’ve been to. I met some amazing new bloggers, caught up with friends, shopped to my heart’s content and ate A LOT of sweets! <3
