Hi guys, I hope you are all having a great weekend. Some of you may have seen some snaps on my social media pages about two weeks ago from the Sheer Fashion Weekend event I was involved in when I was in Galway. I have had a good few of you asking about it so I said I would do a quick post with all of the details about the night.
Firstly, the Sheer Fashion Weekend took place to celebrate the big birthday launch of Galway based model agency Sheer Model Management. Over the weekend of July 5th, a number of exciting events took place. There were bucket collections for their chosen charity Pieta House, there were open castings for models and there was also a number of workshops. The aim of all of this was to bring Galway’s Fashion Back With A Bang – they definitely succeeded.
The official Fashion Show for the Sheer Weekend took place in NUI on Sunday, July 5th. I was delighted to have been asked to host the show as it was their biggest event that weekend and it was a perfect excuse to escape to Galway for the weekend. There was a great turn out on the night, a fantastic atmosphere and a lot was raised for Pieta House. From the designers collections and entertainment to the Surprise Model Contest and Best Dressed on the night, overall, it was a brilliant night and a memorable one!
Not only do I enjoy working in the fashion industry in general and getting involved in events like these but I particularly love getting involved in events that are for great causes. I met so many new people on the night and I had a ball in the process!
