I hope you’ve all had a great week so far. I’ve had a busy enough one with work, my Ireland AM fashion slot, bringing my poor sick dog Sir Ozzy to the vets and now I’m catching up on some blog work. This post is all about that embroidery trend. We cannot get enough of it right now – am I right? I shot this look with Mei Ling on Sunday when the weather was AMAZING. We shot this just before we went to the Cloud 10 Beauty/ Benefit Masterclass in The Gibson. It was a great event to say the least and we learnt lots! I’m no makeup expert but with the beauty guru Chloe Boucher and the fabulous Mark from Benefit chatting to us for a good two hours on all things contour, primer and brow related we left knowing a hell of a lot more. #Winning

HOW TO WEAR EMBROIDERY

I think it’s safe to say so many of us are LOVING embroidery detailing on just about anything—a pair of jeans, a bomber jacket, a dress—you name it!

Embroidery can make any piece of clothing pop and it’s an easy way for minimalist dressers to add a detail to a simple outfit. Throw on an embroidered bomber over a monochromatic outfit or carry an embellished bag to make your tonal separates pop. Since it can be easy to go overboard with this trend, the key is to keep it to one embroidered piece per look. Tip: Match part of your look to a color featured in the embroidery—for example, if the colour pink is prominent in the embroidery, wear pink shoes or a pink top but make sure to keep the rest of the look neutral.
