FABULOUS FLARES
Hi guys, I hope you’ve all had a great week. I am finally getting back into the swing of things after a crazy but fun few weeks of work and travel. If you’ve been following me on my social media channels you’ll know that I was in Malta last week for five fabulous days with my partner in crime Nirina (aka Killer Fashion) – what a trip! If I wasn’t hunting down Game of Thrones locations I was island hopping and indulging in Maltese cuisine so I can’t complain. I am working on my Malta travel post at the minute so I will have a low-down on all things food, trip and tour related for you in the next few days.
But first…the fashion!
As I mentioned, I went to Malta for five days so naturally I packed enough outfits for at least ten days. Better to be safe than sorry – right? 😉 Firstly, I brought three Pretty Little Thing pieces with me and they were all from the Holiday Shop section of their site. This fabulous flared swing dress caught my eye instantly so I had to have it. It’s a little ‘cray’ but that’s why I love it! Out there patterns, OTT sleeves and pops of colour are what Summer is all about so why not?
These photos were taken in Mdina which is not too far from where I was staying in Malta. A few scenes from Game of Thrones were filmed here so I thought this outfit was quite fitting! 😛 It was full of hidden alleyways, quiet streets, cute terrace cafes with incredible views and it some of the most beautiful doorways I’ve ever seen.
SHOP THE LOOK
This black chiffon flare sleeve swing dress is perfect for a sun-holiday because the material is nice and light. I love the plunge neckline and the flared sleeves really finish off the look. I teamed this dress with my Karen Millen bag and these black suede lace up heeled sandals. The sandals are just €35 and they are also available in cream. I’m quite fussy when it comes to sandals as a lot tend of hurt my feet after a while but these are really comfortable.
