Mary Grant Designs
Last night, (March 25th) Mary Grant launched her brand new store in Dublin’s Creative Quarter, Powerscourt Townhouse Centre. I went to the launch with fellow bloggers Nirina and Kassi to have a browse. We were greeted by the lovely Fiona who talked to us about Mary Grant’s Designs and her most recent collection.
Each of Grant’s collections are designed as a follow on from previous collections, meaning that each season, clients can revamp their wardrobe and create new looks by adding 1 or 2 pieces to their existing pieces. The collections are lifestyle rather than trend driven.
Last night, I came across such a wide variety of pieces in terms of colour, styles, fabrics and textures. My favourite pieces would have to be the whites and pinks, which were very much focused on lace and tulle (my latest obsession). They are ideal for Spring and Summer.
The Powerscourt Experience
In my opinion, Powerscourt Townhouse is a perfect location for her store, I love what she has done with the store. The mirrors, the furniture, the candles and the overall theme really adds to the Industrial Chic trend.
‘The shop is a labour of love, which we hope the customer can feel when they walk in the door, whether for a quick browse or to sit with a coffee and chat for a while…’
Thank you again Mary and Fiona for this beautiful gift (see below). I will be featuring this item of clothing in my next Style Guide shoot so make sure you keep an eye.
I cannot wait to show you all.
Make sure you pop into her store for a browse…
