DBS Graduation 2014
The day finally arrived (November 12th 2014) after three years of study. I was delighted to be graduating with a first class honours degree. After living in Australia for two years I decided to return to Dublin to complete a (BA) Honours Degree in Marketing and Event Management, my goal was to get a 1.1 so the hard work paid off. I’ve had a brilliant three years (which FLEW by).
I’ve made great memories with an unreal group of people. Throughout the three years I’ve had fantastic lecturers, studied a broad range of modules which covered numerous areas of business, I was nominated for the DBS Student Representative Of The Year Award back in 2013, and I had the opportunity to work with a brilliant team of people as Chief Executive Officer for the 2013 Cirque Du Style Charity Fashion Show which was in aid of the Irish Hospice Foundation.
Graduation Day
I couldn’t wait to catch up with all my college buddies because I hadn’t seen a lot of them since we finished up with exams back in May.
I started off my graduation day by checking into the Bewleys Hotel in Ballsbridge. It was lashing so thankfully I only had a 2 minute trek over to the RDS with the girls for the ceremony. After a great ceremony, numerous speeches and a few hundred photos with friends and family (in a Professor Snape robe), I finished the night off by catching up with everyone in Everleigh.
Overall, I’ve had a fantastic, memorable 3 years filled with both challenges and a lot of accomplishments. DBS you will be missed (until I do my Masters).
