After weeks of planning a mini break away with the girls, a night at the Monart was finally booked – I could not wait!
Monart (one of the world’s leading five star resorts) is hidden away in the beautiful Wexford countryside. It is an adult’s only environment and is regarded as one of the best spa retreats in the world.
I visited Monart with my college friends for a 1 night stay of luxury! When we arrived at reception, a member of staff was waiting to take our luggage and park our car. Once we checked in, we were given a complementary smoothie which was followed by quick tour around the resort. We then headed straight up to our room to change into our robes.
My friends and I decided to go with the Monart Midweek Haven offer. This amazing offer included;

- Breakfast in the morning in their renowned restaurant
- A fabulous 30 min treatment
- Dinner from our Table d’Hote menu
- Complimentary access to the Thermal Spa
- The opportunity to participate in any or all of their scheduled classes (Swiss Ball, Aqua Exercise, Stretch & Relax, Sauna Ritual)
We decided to book a 30 minute Tension Release Massage. The friendly masseuse, relaxing atmosphere and soothing music made the experience one to remember. The facilities and Thermal Spa left me feeling rejuvenated.
After a relaxing afternoon in the spa, we went for dinner in the dining hall where we were greeted once again by the lovely Monart staff. The food was exquisite – compliments to the chef!
To finish off our night we had snacks and a movie sent to our room.
The next day, I enjoyed a lovely breakfast and finished my visit at the Monart with a walk in the grounds and tea in the library!
