Skincare To The Rescue

I think you’ll agree that clear, healthy and happy skin is something everyone wants. I am always on the look out for products that help with breakouts as it’s something I’ve been struggling with for years. Are you looking for a skincare brand change? This blog post covers two skincare products that I have tried and tested over the last few months. If you have troubled skin then read on.

A few months ago the iiaa, (the International Institute for Anti-Ageing) got in touch and asked if I would be interested in trying out two of their skincare products.  My skin is forever in need of some TLC so I could not wait to try something new.

Here’s what I received…

Environ’s B-Active Sebuwash

The first product they sent me was Environ’s B-Active Sebuwash. This is a foaming, gel cleanser that gently removes excess oils and environmental debris without drying the skin. It also helps cleanse and decongest the skin.

I tend to have quite oily skin and I am prone to breakouts so when I mentioned this to the iiaa they said this gel cleanser should suit my skin type – they were right! I’ve been using the B-Active Sebuwash for months now and I find it really does help my skin. Aside from helping with my oily skin and with breakouts, my face is always left feeling soft and clear. If you have a similar skin type I would definitely recommend looking into the Environ skincare range.

The range can only be purchased from a number of stockists, find one near you here.

 Jane Iredale’s

Smooth Affair Facial Primer & Brightner

The second product I received was the Smooth Affair Facial Primer & Brightener For Oily Skin. I have been trying this out for months and I am very impressed. I’ve never been too fussy when it comes to primers but I honestly don’t think I would use any other primer. It leaves my skin feeling smooth, moisturised and healthy. The scent is quite subtle which is another bonus. My makeup stays put for the day and it doesn’t leave my face looking shiny or oily after a few hours.

In my opinion this is an ideal primer for troubled skin! It can be found and purchased on their website.

Overall, I would highly recommend the iiaa and both of the products I have been using. They are really good quality products and in terms of cost – definitely worthwhile spending a little extra on them.

Have you tried any of these brands? What did you think?

Thanks for reading!

Until next time…
