Today I attended the first ever Spring Summer Ladies Day at Naas Racecourse. This Ladies Day kept with the boutique personality of the course by inviting attendees to show individuality, fun and flair. There were no style rules to abide by, hats and headpieces were optional but not essential, which gave all entrants a chance to experiment with an alternative Ladies Day look – that’s what I loved about today!
I’ve become a huge fan of race days over the last year, I love the atmosphere, the hype, the outfits and of course the bubbly and endless selfies. Today we were only too lucky with the weather which made the day even better.
Naas Racecourse will undergo a €3 million re-development project this year so I cannot wait to see the racecourse when it’s finished.
WHAT I WORE
Today my outfit was from fabulous designer Catriona Hanly. This purple masterpiece is part of her latest AW16 collection which will be available later this year. (I cannot wait to see the rest of the collection). The hat was also designed by Catriona and was made by the talented Suzie Mahony! I love how bright and vibrant the outfit looked. A huge thank you again to Catriona & Co for putting together such an amazing look for today.
BEST IRISH FASHION
To top off a great race day the lovely Emma Manley announced that I had won a prize for Best Irish Fashion – I was beyond delighted. There were so many stylish people there today – congratulations to all other winners.
There you have it, my latest style diary look. I will hopefully make it to more race days this summer so keep an eye out for more race day style inspiration.
Lots more fashionable inspiration to come!
Thanks for reading.
Until next time…
