Christmas in London 2014
I am off to London this weekend because I am going to the British Fashion Awards next Monday (too excited). I’ve been to London many times but London at Christmas is definitely top of my list having spent one Christmas over there a few years ago. Here are my top 5 things to do and see in London this Christmas! Enjoy! <3
Skate at Somerset House
The courtyard at Somerset House is a stunning location for a session on the ice this winter, and no matter how impressive your skating skills a trip to this 900-metre-square outdoor rink will look the very picture of festive fun in the photos. There are plenty of extras available to make your visit even more special: the Fortnum’s Lodge will offer champagne, afternoon tea and even private dining; Club Nights will feature DJs from Ministry of Sound (Nov 14), Vintage (Nov 26) and Lovebox (Dec 12) among many others. The Christmas Arcade will bring 15 rooms of shopping from Fortnum & Mason, and guests can admire the ice with a drink in hand in the Skate Lounge, both of which can be accessed without a ticket. The ice rink will be open until Sun Jan 11 2015.

Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park
The Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park is top of my list for next week.

It is jam packed with winter markets, festive fairground rides, ice skating, grottos and glühwein galore. We’ll keep you updated with all London Christmas market information for winter 2014 as soon as it’s announced. My top picks are; Barbican Christmas Market, Southbank Centre Christmas Market, Christmas Market at Tate Modern and the Fair Christmas Fayre.
The best theatre shows in London this Christmas
From family-friendly panto to shows for the grown-ups, here are the best festive theatre productions on the London stage this Christmas
This would be my top pick because well, Nicole Scherzinger is performing in it. Okay, it’s less cool than the Simply Red reunion tour and it’s only happening because nobody can write a Palladium-size show anymore, but whatever: Andrew Lloyd Webber’s megahit about a bunch of singing cats is back for the holidays. You can see this show in London Palladium until Feb 28 2015
