Back to Blonde
Hi guys, I hope you are all having a great week so far. It’s hard to believe Halloween is creeping up on us. Where has the month gone? I am still in the process of sorting out my costume for a Halloween party I am going to on Saturday so if anyone has any last minute suggestions let me know! 😛
On Saturday I called into the lovely Meli in Davey Davey to get a full head of blonde highlights. I’ve slowly been building up the colour of my hair because I wanted to go as light as possible. A few years ago I had completely blonde hair so I’ve been dying to get back to the colour it used to be. Meli worked wonders on my locks so I am LOVING the colour and shape. She also used a Smartbond treatment in my hair. I’ve never had this treatment done before but I was really impressed so I will definitely be using it again.
What is Smartbond?
Smartbond is a hair care treatment that protects and strengthens the hair when bleaching or colouring it. It is suitable for a number of hair types such as damaged or sensitized hair, dull hair or bleached, coloured or highlighted hair. The treatment leaves your hair feeling reinforced, softer and shiny. My hair felt great afterwards so I will 100% be getting this treatment done the next time I call into Davey Davey.

Overall, I am delighted with the overall look, shape and colour of my hair. I would definitely recommend going to Davey Davey if you’re looking to get your colour done. They worked wonders on mine and they are the nicest people. I would like to say a massive thank you to Meli – my week is made! 🙂
