Fashion Boss Attends The 2014 British Fashion Awards

As most of you already know, each year the British Fashion Awards celebrates the creativity and success of British designers and creatives for their ability to set the global fashion agenda. The British Fashion Awards has been celebrating the contributions of British designers, creatives and models to the international fashion scene since 1989.

I had a fantastic time at this years British Fashion Awards, it is by far one of my favourite annual fashion events along with fashion weeks and the Victoria’s Secret fashion show. I love that they take place a few weeks before Christmas every year because there is always so much more hype in the city, the atmosphere is great and not to mention it is an ideal opportunity to catch up on some Christmas shopping in some of my favourite retail spots; Oxford St, Bond Street and Regent St.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The morning of the awards was a hectic one for me. I had some last minute meetings, a hair and makeup appointment in Soho and I dropped by the new VS store to catch a glimpse of a few angels! 😉

The awards took place in the London Coliseum, this was an ideal venue, it’s beautiful, spacious, always has a great atmosphere and in a well-known central part of London. My evening at the awards started off on the red carpet (so many photos, so little time).There was a champagne reception , a great opportunity to mingle with some of Britain’s most stylish people.

 

 

 

The ceremony began soon after with a comical welcome speech by the one and only Jack Whitehall (I LOVE this guy). The first award of the evening was presented by the fab Rita Ora, there were 17 awards given out in total throughout the night by some of the worlds most stylish stars. Acceptance speeches by Emma Watson, Cara Delevingne, Anna Wintour and Victoria Beckham were some of the highlights of my night.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I had a fantastic time at this years British Fashion Awards. The fashion was to die for, the people were amazing, the speeches were heart warming and the entertainment was memorable to say the least. See you again soon London! <3
