Yesterday (September 3rd), Lidl returned to the fashion circuit with the launch of its 42-piece debut Esmara AW15 collection.  Dominated by rich colours like Bordeaux red, olive green and grungy greys and blacks, the focus of the collection is on functional staples, plush fabrics and layering at prices that won’t break the bank. The first range from the collection, called ‘See you in Berlin’, went on sale yesterday, featuring luxe tops, denim look jeggings and a faux leather jacket for the bargain price of just €14.99.

With a focus on trends that are both wearable and affordable, Lidl has embraced AW15 with a wide variety of colour, print and textures. Savvy shoppers can also expect to see skinny trousers in colours like black, rush and leopard print , €9.99, printed shift tops, €7.99 and parka jackets in khaki and red. Those of you following me on Snapchat would have seen some of these key looks.. I loved the skinnies in particular.

November will see the release of a kimono-style, Aztec print cardigan, €12.99, and sleek, faux suede waterfall jackets in black and khaki, €12.99, guaranteed to be your new season BFF.
