LADIES DAY AT THE IRISH DERBY
On Saturday June 27th I went to the Irish Derby which took place at the Curragh Racecourse. I went with all of the girls so it was great catching up with everyone, enjoying each race and having a few drinks.
WHAT I WORE
THE HAT
The hat is always the most important part of every girls outfit at any race day, particularly at Ladies Day. I got this beautiful hat from my absolute favourite milliner Suzanne Ryan. The hat matched the entire outfit – Well, the entire outfit matched the hat.
I got some many compliments throughout the day – thank you again Suzanne! She offers bespoke headpieces for all occasions (recently seen on Xpose). She rents and sells headpieces so be sure to get in touch with her for upcoming race days and events. Her hats would be PERFECT for the upcoming Galway races! <3
THE DRESS
My dress was a last-minute purchase. I’m usually very organised when it comes to outfits for events so this one was a lucky find. I got this dress in Zara for just under €60. I love the material and the shape of the dress. It almost has a sixties vibe to it. What do you think?
THE CLUTCH
I got this pastel yellow clutch for just under €15 in New Look. I found it tricky finding a clutch to match my heels but I managed to find this just on time. Such good value and it comes with a detachable chain.
THE HEELS
I got these beauties from ASOS. I love the style, the colours and the detail on each side. They were under €40 and I found them really comfortable to wear for the most part of the day. Definitely a great purchase.
Overall, I had a such a fun day (yet again) at the races. They are always a great day out – I cannot wait for the next one.
Here are some extra snaps that were taken on the day! <3
Thanks for reading! 🙂
Until next time…

Absolutely love this outfit and that 1960s style dress! Love how you’ve used monochrome and added a pop of Summer colour with the the yellow! The headpiece is STUNNING – a catwalk piece… thanks for sharing!
Thanks Sandra! I’m glad you like it. I love Suzanne Ryan’s hats. They always stand out and really finish off race day looks!
