Littlewoods Ireland AW15
~Bohemian vibes, animal prints and layered textures – updating your wardrobe with the latest trends couldn’t be easier with free delivery and returns ~
This season Littlewoods Ireland has plenty of hot new trends to start getting excited about; focusing on a 70s vibe but with a direction that’s more folksy than rock. This time the trend celebrates piling on prints, must-have denims with colourful suedes and fringing in a total texture overload.
There’s also a romantic bohemian undertone with lots of Victorian lace, killer faux furs and soft floaty florals throughout. Littlewoods is also embracing the party season with a subtle focus of embellishment, glamour and sequins.
Fashion Boss Loves Littlewoods
I’ve always been a fan of Littlewoods and this AW collection certainly does not disappoint. I went to the AW15 show in the Morrison hotel with Mei-Ling Tong of Darling Buds of Mei. The entire catwalk setup was very impressive and I had the opportunity to browse through some of the latest collection. There was plenty of photos taken on the night and overall I had a great evening.
Littlewoods BIG Trends
Frame it
Influenced by the stripes and monochrome blocking of the AW15 catwalks this trend is focused on the simplicity of black and white.
Romantic Bohemia
The 70s vibe continues but this time with a Victorian twist on blouses and dresses, expect lots of soft chiffons and pretty lace with inserts of romantic florals.
Almost Famous
It’s all about the 70s! The recent burst of orange makes way for rust and a more transitional colour palette. Key denim pieces and florals are still big news.
Animal Touch
This season animal print is mixed with cleaner lines and staple wardrobe pieces such as the camel coat and leather trousers to give it a modern makeover.
Stars & Sequins
With party season fast approaching it’s hard to avoid the obvious nod of the 80s glamour. Embrace the sparkle with embellished jeans and dresses, full sequin numbers and lots of brightly coloured faux furs.
