High Shine
It’s time to forget heavily-powdered matt skin this year – at the likes of Simone Rocha and Donna Karan complexions were decidedly dewy. complexions were decidedly dewy. Lipgloss was actually used on the lids of models to reflect light at some of the shows. Apparently the word “sweaty” was used at Marc by Marc Jacobs.
The Off-Centre Parting
At this year’s show their partings were worn neither neatly at one side nor precisely in the centre, they were ever so slightly askew at the likes of Christian Dior, Roberto Cavalli and Chloé for a more natural feel.
The Anti Cat-Eye
The way to wear black eyeliner for spring/summer 2015 is from the middle of the eyes extended past the outer corners, as seen at Céline, Prada and Narciso Rodriguez or in a bold line underneath. Black eyeliner never goes out of style and that’s what I love about it. To get this look keep the line straight and strong.
The Low Ponytail
Whether it’s a sporty look, a crimped look or a bedhead-style look you’re going for this spring wear your ponytail low – close to the bottom of your neck. This was done at almost every show. Prada, Stella McCartney and Alexander Wang to name a few.
The Return Of The Red Lip
Lipstick fans rejoice, every imaginable type of red could be seen at the spring/summer shows. At Burberry Prorsum and Zac Posen it was bold scarlet and at Dolce & Gabbana and Topshop Unique the lips came in the richest of smudgy berry type colours.Red Lips are here to stay!
Nice, Thank you.
