Taking Chanel To A Whole New Level
What better way to get rid of the Monday blues! It’s cocktail time! This Coco Chanel cocktail was recently added to the menu at Betony in New York City. It’s made of Lillet, Bergamot, and Champagne, and includes a Chanel No. 5-infused spearmint garnish. How amazing does this sound? I am DYING to make one of my own later.

2 oz. Lillet Blanc
3/4 oz. lemon JUICE
1/2 oz. simple syrup
1 lemon peel
2 dashes rosewater
Shake all above ingredients with one cube of ice and pour into chilled rocks glass. Fill glass with pink Champagne and add more crushed ice to form a mound on the top of the cocktail. GARNISH with a bunch of mint that has been lightly scented with Chanel No. 5 (Betony uses a small roll-on applicator to scent it). Sip through a straw.
